Privacy Policy

Dance.AI ("the App", "we", "us") is an AI dance and movement companion provided by StudioOS. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — if you sign in, your email address and a secure authentication token, so we can save your progress and preferences.
• Microphone audio (voice) — when you use voice chat, your speech is streamed in real time to our AI voice service to power the conversation. We do not store raw audio recordings.
• Camera images (optional) — only if you turn the camera on, low resolution images are streamed to our AI vision service so the coach can react to your movement. We do not store camera images.
• Conversation & activity — text of your conversations, coaching notes the AI keeps about your goals and progress, session history (minutes, styles, moods), so the coach can remember you across sessions.
• Notification subscription — if you enable reminders, a push subscription token and your preferred reminder time and time zone.
• Basic technical & usage data — anonymous device/browser type and aggregate usage events to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use it

• To provide the core service: real-time voice/text coaching, movement guidance, and remembering your preferences and progress.
• To send the daily reminders you opt in to.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your audio, camera, or conversations for advertising.

3. AI processing & service providers

To deliver the AI features, data is processed by trusted third-party providers acting on our behalf, including:

• Google (Gemini) — real-time speech-to-speech voice and vision.
• Groq and Microsoft Azure OpenAI — text conversation and coaching.
• Microsoft Azure — speech services, hosting, and storage.

These providers process data only to perform the requested function and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Account, progress, and conversation memory are kept while your account is active so the coach can remember you. Raw audio and camera frames are processed transiently and not stored. To delete your data or account, contact us at the email below and we will remove your stored information.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
